Wedding Wednesday – An Exclusive Interview with Baltimore Bride
Our very own Ella Pritsker has recently been featured in Baltimore Bride Magazine!
Getting a custom gown made for you is something like an experience. But actually creating a custom gown is a memory within itself.
As an experienced custom clothing designer, Ella knows that women should feel empowered to live a life they can feel proud of. And after years of studying under Old World dressmakers in Italy and perfecting her craft, she was able to move to the states and start her own couture business that has grown tremendously simply through word of mouth.
Q: Why would a bride choose a custom gown for her wedding?
A: “It is one of the most important days in your life. This is a day where you want everything to be magical, wonderful, and perfect. It’s also fun to have the dress be exactly what you’d like it to be, the one you always dreamed of. It will fit impeccably. And it’s something you could pass down to your children”.
Q: Do you also work with mothers of the bride?
A: “Some mothers of the bride want us to design a dress for them from scratch. Other times they’ll come with a picture. Occasionally, someone will come in with a dress and ask us to add our own design to it. If someone has a dress they like but wants to restyle it, we can either take details off or add them. We can even completely change the top or the bottom. For instance, we can make the bottom fuller, or just the opposite, more formfitting “.
With the help of her talented team of female artisans, Ella Pritsker has made a name for herself and her brand throughout the Greater Baltimore Area and beyond. She continues to work hard and deeply enjoys making beautiful clothing for women in need of an entire wardrobe or even just a special garment.

“The more we talk, the more I get to know the person, the easier it is for me to nail the design for them“.
