About Ella: Ella Pritsker is one of the Mid-Atlantic region’s most celebrated custom design houses, utilizing centuries-old master techniques to deliver exceptional results. Offering design expertise for high-end couture, wedding gowns, special occasion dresses, and her very own tennis & golf performance line, Ella and her team of designers have been creating signature pieces for more than 25 years. 

At the age of 21 while in Austria and Italy and waiting to emigrate to the US, destiny would have it that she met three “Old World” European dressmakers who exposed her to the exciting world of high fashion. Each taught her a piece of the fine art of hand stitched custom couture.  “That’s when I knew that this is what I would do with my life,” she says.

From patternmaking to production to marketing to being featured in New York Fashion Week, to working with global giants such as Under Armour, and appointing the closets of many private, high level local and global executive clients, including Miss Universe contestants, she has done it all and she is excited to bring her couture designs into your closets! 

The Ella Pritsker Master Class: Perfect your sewing and design skills in a unique sewing course led and taught by one of Mid-Atlantic’s most celebrated Couture Designers, Ella Pritsker.  

As a student in our Master Class, you’ll gain the ability to foresee trends in the fashion industry, understand textiles and their best use and application, create designs using both hand sewing, sewing machines and pressing equipment. Our Master Class at Ella Pritsker Couture touches on design, development, patternmaking, couture and ready to wear construction,, accessories and textile science and sustainability.

ON-LINE SEWING MASTER CLASS:

Ella Pritsker takes you by the hand in the On-Line Master Class and guides you with detailed step-by-step video instructions and close-ups through the entire garment construction process.

You get a precise look at the techniques as you would see them from a Couture Designer’s perspective. In addition, all the tips and trade secrets from our decades of design work and experience will make sewing easier and more enjoyable for you.

And the advantage of an online course? You learn at your own pace. Every stitch, technique, sequence are shown to you , so you see exactly how you need to proceed. And you can repeat, rewind and pause the videos as often as you want.

 So, you learn comfortably from home and implement your knowledge whenever and however you want. Our participants love this content and the comfort of learning at their own pace.

IN-STUDIO SEWING MASTER CLASS:

If an On-Line setting isn’t the best learning method for you, you can schedule an In-Studio Sewing Master Class with Couture Designer, Ella Pritsker, herself.  

Ella will be taking appointments on both a one-on-one setting and also a group setting up to five (5) people at a time.  We have students, of all ages, from all around the world who come to learn the art of sewing from our Designer.

This exclusive opportunity will only be offered a hand-full of times per year by Ella Pritsker, so we recommend booking your time 4 months in advance.
